Upcoming Cars in 2012 BMW M6 With Prices, Specification And Previews and Images

New 2012 BMW M6 F12 info has surfaced today as the next generation hardcore version of the German coupe has been spied for the first time. The 2012 BMW M6 F12 was caught on camera while doing runs on the famous Nurburgring race track. Unfortunately, the prototype is completely covered in camo tape. However, this could mean that the exterior design changes brought by the 2012 BMW M6 F12 will be rather extensive.

As announced in previous reports, the 2012 BMW M6 F12 will follow the general design lines of the Gran Coupe concept. However, it will have a new front bumper and air intakes, but we expect the LED daytime running lights to be kept in the final production model. The 2012 BMW M6 F12 will still have the big brakes and the 20 inch rims as well as the signature four pipe exhaust system. With the recent online unveiling of the 6 Series Coupe Concept, the camouflage on this spied M6 test car is almost unnecessary. Of course, being the range-topping performance model, the M6 will undoubtedly sport a more aggressive body kit.

The X5M and X6M have been announced, and both of them have a juicy twin-turbo V8. The hopped up version of the X6 XDrive48i’s engine throws down 555 horsepower and 501 lb-feet of torque. Both of those numbers are FAR ahead of the 500 horsepower and (seemingly paltry in comparison) 383 lb-feet of torque from the current M5′s naturally-aspirated V10.

Which is why I have reason to believe that this exact same engine, is destined for the next BMW M5 and M6. It’s far less expensive to pump up and turbocharge their oft-used 4.4-liter V8 than to put together a special V10 specifically for the M5 and M6. Turbochargers allow for both high power, MUCH higher torque, and better MPG than the alternative. Not to mention, take a look at the 0-60 times – the BMW M5 throws it down in a claimed 4.7 seconds. The X5M and X6M, porkers both, throw it down in 4.5 seconds, despite being almost 1,000 pounds heavier each than the M5 and M6.

The first Upcoming Cars 2012 BMW 3 Series info has just surfaced the web as the next generation model was caught on camera while testing on the Nurburgring. Unfortunately, the car in the spy photos is heavily camouflaged, but it does seem to be the sedan version.

The Upcoming Cars 2012 BMW 3 Series is expected to hit the showroom floor on the EU market sometime next year, with the USA market following soon. The 2012 BMW 3 Series Touring and coupe will also follow

ome up with a very interesting concept. The BMW 3 Series received a facelift this year and it is good enough to withstand strong competition from the A4 and C-Class until the new one arrives sometime in 2011.

BMW has already begun testing the next generation 3 Series platform albeit with a body shell of the present model. So the final design cannot be too far behind. We hear that we are still a year’s time away from the first 2012 3 Series prototypes on the road for testing and the final design will be chosen in spring this year.
Teknikensvarld reports that the 2012 BMW 3 Series will carry forward design from the CS concept which is why their new rendering makes more sense. The larger front grille and a flat nose section comply with the new Pedestrian regulations.

What we have here can be classified in the “looks true, but we’re not sure it is” category. French website Automobile Magazine released today two photos portraying the future generation BMW 3 Series, in fact two CGIs which are supposed to showcase the AvantGarde design expected to come with the new car.

Although, we say again, these photos may not portray exactly how the next 3 Series will look like, we reckon they come pretty close. For refference, you may try and make the comparison by yourself by viewing the spyshots of the 2012 3 Series we showed you last November.

The next generation 2012 BMW 3 Series is still a few years out, but this does not stop the curiosity of the true bimmer fans. Our friend Giom decided to show us some renderings of what the next generation BMW 3 Series might look like.
If you remember, Giom is the same designer that came up with the really cool 2012 BMW M6 renderings that were posted on here back in May. I agree with Giom when he says that the next generation 3-series will be evolutionary rather than revolutionary, so the styling reflects the current cues, which includes the CS concept.

BMW is planning to dramatically expand the number of offerings within its various model ranges, especially the strong-selling 3-series that is the backbone of the brand. All eyes are on the next 3, due for 2012.

Aside from the usual body styles—sedan, station wagon, coupe, and retractable-roof convertible—BMW will also build a five-door hatchback version featuring an aggressive design that will combine station-wagon practicality with coupelike style. In other words, the 3-series range will get its own version of the 5-series GT concept, BMW’s attempt to cross-pollinate an SUV and a station wagon. Like the 5-series GT, the 3-series GT will offer two adjustable seats with a center console in the rear and straddle the fine line between BMW SUV and BMW wagon in regard to overall height.
